What's Ja Solar DeepBlue 3.0 technology?
JA Solar, a Tier One company, predicts the market demand and introduces the right products for their clients. In 2020 they’ve launched new technology – DeepBlue 3.0. – the combination of M10 wafer (182mm size), PERCIUM+ technology, multi-busbar (MBB) and half-cell technology, etc.
All these implemented technologies made the efficiency of the panel surpass 21%. The product was recognized and became super popular withcustomers and by the end of 2021, the production capacity of JA Solar module 182 DeepBlue 3.0 will take over 50% of the company’s total capacity.
What's JA Solar DeepBlue 4.0 Technology?
Even though perovskite technology is the most efficient among PV panels, nowadays the most common solution used in solar panels is monocrystalline. And the most popular solution among monocrystalline cells which will dominate the market by 2023 is N-Type technology. So now, after DeepBlue 3.0 was born, JA Solar used n-type technology for the birth of a new product – DeepBlue 4.0
The efficiency increase to 22.4% was possible by implementing advanced n-type cell and Gapless Flexible Interconnection (GFI) technologies. The power of modules jumped to 635W. Through GFI technology, module power can be increased by more than 5 watts and module efficiency increased by at least 0.2%. The degradation factor improved as well – 1st year degradation < 1%, annual degradation over 30 years < 0.4%. Lower temperature coefficient: -0.30%/°C temperature dependence of Pmax (ΔPmax/ ΔT). The power loss is only around 2%, which is far below the IEC standards Higher Bifacial Benefits to 80%.
